Arschlöcher und Pop

Manchmal dachte ich mir: Ob diese ganzen Arschlöcher einfach nochmal die Musik ihrer Jugend als Katalysator hören wollen, koste es, was es wolle. Und sei es die eigene Glaubwürdigkeit. Psychologisch sind gewisse Gefühle, die eine Persönlichkeit über längere Zeit bewegt haben, an eine gewisse Musik gebunden (dazu gibt es wohl zahlreiche Studien). Dazu vollführen heute „große Stars“ dann gut geschminkt und frisch frisiert Gesten und Posen, singen das hohe Lied der Liebe und der ewigen Gefühle (Vorsicht! Spekulation!). Das schafft Verbundenheit und Gleichgerichtetheit mit all den anderen. Dies freilich machten sich auch Figuren wie Adolf oder Goebbels in politischer Hinsicht (was schnurgerade ins Totalitäre, also die Totalität unseres Seins mündete) zunutze. Sie erzeugten eine Gemeinsamkeit des Augenblicks, die sich in ihrem Falle fortsetzen sollte bis in den Tod. Die Euphorie, die so etwas bedingt, wird im kommerziellen Popkonzert auch durch die perfekte Lightshow erzeugt. Kicks und Effekte aller Art befördern die Absicht noch wirksamer. Die Band spielt handwerklich gekonnt, der Sound ist am Reißbrett entworfen, nimmt Klischees auf und überführt sie gekonnt in eine Show. Die Betonung liegt herbei auf „gekonnt“, denn der technokratische Vorgang steht dabei oft im Vordergrund. Gezielte Provokationen können hinzu kommen und einen Gestus unterstreichen, ein Image unterstreichen. Was entsteht, mag so ziemlich das Gegenteil dessen sein, was man einst als „Geheimnis“ bezeichnete. Es ist sogar das pure Gegenteil davon, nämlich das allzu Offensichtliche, das Hergestellte, das (gut) Gemachte. Wenn diese ganzen reichen alten Arschlöcher dem auf den Leim gehen, ist das ihre sentimentale Sache, darf aber benannt werden. x Sometimes I thought to myself: whether all these assholes just want to hear the music of their youth again as a catalyst, no matter what the cost. And be it your own credibility. Psychologically, certain feelings that have moved a personality over a long period of time are tied to a certain music (there are probably numerous studies on this). In addition, “big stars” perform gestures and poses with good make-up and freshly styled, singing the song of love and eternal feelings (caution! speculation!). This creates connectedness and equality with all the others. Of course, figures like Adolf or Goebbels also took advantage of this from a political point of view (which led straight to totalitarianism, i.e. the totality of our being). They created a togetherness of the moment, which in her case was to continue until death. The euphoria that causes something like this is also generated in commercial pop concerts by the perfect light show. Kicks and effects of all kinds promote intention even more effectively. The band plays skilfully, the sound is designed on the drawing board, picks up on clichés and skilfully transfers them into a show. The emphasis here is on "skillful" because the technocratic process is often in the foreground. Targeted provocations can be added and underline a gesture, underline an image. What emerges may be quite the opposite of what was once called a "mystery." It is even the complete opposite of that, namely the all too obvious, the manufactured, the (well) made. If all these rich old assholes fall for that, that's their sentimental thing, but it's allowed to be named.
