Es kommen einem sehr klobig große Karossen entgegen, die die Elektromobile sein sollen, die Öko-Gutmenschen fahren. Dabei hatten wir doch gelernt, dass Öko-Fahrzeuge möglichst wenig ausladend und sparsam in jeder Hinsicht sein sollten. Nachhaltig halt. Und nun diese gewaltigen Kisten? Wer es sich leisten kann, nimmt auch noch die Karossen eines amerikanischen Milliardärs als Statussymbol her und glaubt, somit etwas für die Umwelt zu tun. Kleinere Autos? Erschwinglich?Fehlanzeige. Somit scheinen mir diese neuen Autos sehr aktiv zur sozialen Spaltung beizutragen. Doch solche, alle Bürger betreffenden Kosten, sind ausgelagert. Die Allgemeinheit hat sie zu tragen, - so das bisherige Credo dieser „Marktwirtschaft“. x x You come across very clunky bodies that are supposed to be the electric vehicles that eco-do-gooders drive. We had learned that eco-vehicles should be as minimally bulky as possible and economical in every respect. Sustainable. And now these huge boxes? Those who can afford it also use the cars of an American billionaire as a status symbol and believe that they are doing something for the environment. Smaller cars? Affordable? None. So these new cars seem to me to be contributing very actively to social division. But such costs, which affect all citizens, are outsourced. The general public has to bear it - that is the current credo of this “market economy”.
