My Music

Meine Musik wirkt wie aus der Zeit gefallen. Dies ist auch kein Wunder, ist sie doch keineswegs nur an die Jetztzeit angebunden, sondern hat viele meiner mehr als 50 Jahre Hörerfahrungen und Praxis in der Rock- und Popmusik in sich aufgenommen. Dazu kommen Hörerfahrungen aus dem Jazz, aus der Zirkus- und Jahrmarktsmusik, aus der Kinomusik, Neue Musik usw. Dies alles habe ich in mich aufgenommen und zu meiner aktuellen Produktion mit vielen Elementen verarbeitet. Zum oft durchgehenden Rhythmus könnte getanzt werden, jedenfalls spielt der (mechanische) Groove darin oft (nicht immer!) eine große Rolle. Den Gegenpol spielen quasi jene eher besinnlichen Stücke, die auch auf der Wortebene Anstöße geben wollen. x x My music seems like it's out of time. This is no wonder, as it is by no means only tied to the present, but has absorbed many of my more than 50 years of listening experience and practice in rock and pop music. In addition, there are listening experiences from jazz, circus and fairground music, cinema music, new music, etc. I have absorbed all of this and processed it into my current production with many elements. You could dance to the often continuous rhythm, but the (mechanical) groove often (not always!) plays a major role in it. The opposite pole is played by those more contemplative pieces that also want to provide inspiration on a word level.
