Korruption

Ich frage mich, wieso Politiker immer so empfänglich für Korruption sind. Ist's die Machtfülle? Sind die Übergänge dermaßen fließend geworden? Das Phänomen ist wissenschaftlich oft untersucht worden. Mit keinerlei Folgen in der Praxis. Wer sägt solche Politikerie ab? Ein sogenannter Vize, einer, der sich schon längst und immer schon Hoffnungen auf die Nachfolge gemacht hat, einer, der wie einst Brutus ans eigene Fortkommen denken will? Nun gilt es für solche PolitikerInnen, Schätze zu plündern, Steuern raus zu hauen, zum Wohle der Lobbyisten zu handeln und - das Wichtigste! - zum Wohle des eigenen Egos samt Geldbeutels. Wieso kommen in gewissen Ländern die Mittel zur Absicherung gegen Katastrophen nicht bei den Bedürftigen an? Bund, Provinz, Land, Region und Städte scheinen sich als Verwaltungseinheiten ohnehin nicht grün zu sein. Es scheinen da auch noch ein paar andere, auch kriminelle Kräfte mitzumischen. Sie sorgen wohl für die „Lenkung“ des Geldstroms, - zum eigenen Nutzen und Frommen. Wieso müssen alle Abgeordneten des deutschen Bundestags Luxus-Schreibgeräte einer bestimmten Marke ordern, - oft in großer Stückzahl? Wieso kommt so etwas angelegentlich und nur auf Druck heraus? Maskenverkauf etc., die Liste ist lang. Was ist das Gegenmittel? Erhöhung der Pauschalen zum Zwecke der Ablenkung von Korruptionsverdacht? Wieso haben immer noch so viele Lobbyisten freien Zugang zu den Entscheidern, ohne dass die Öffentlichkeit etwas davon erfährt? Ob so etwas zur Politikverdrossenheit, zum schlechten Image der Abgeordneten oder zum Gedeihen von rechten „Protestparteien“ beiträgt? Zur immer größer werdenden Distanz zwischen denen, die das Parlament darstellen und denen, die sie vertreten sollen und die eigentlich ihre „Chefs“ sind? Natürlich ließe sich die Korruptionsliste beliebig lange fortsetzen: Oligo X, OligoY (bloß keine realen Namen nennen!)… all die offensichtlichen Fälle, .. . who cares? I wonder why politicians are always so susceptible to corruption. Is it the power? Have the transitions become so fluid? The phenomenon has been scientifically studied many times. With no consequences in practice. Who saws off such politics? A so-called deputy, someone who has long and always had hopes for the successor, someone who, like Brutus once did, wants to think about his own advancement? Now it is up to such politicians to plunder treasures, cut taxes, act for the benefit of the lobbyists and - most importantly! - for the benefit of your own ego and wallet. Why is it that in certain countries the funds for protection against catastrophes do not reach those in need? Federal, province, state, region and cities do not seem to be green as administrative units anyway. There seem to be a few other forces involved, including criminal forces. They probably take care of the "guidance" of the flow of money - for their own benefit and piety. Why do all members of the German Bundestag have to order luxury writing implements from a certain brand - often in large numbers? Why does something like this come out casually and only under pressure? Mask sales etc., the list is long. What is the antidote? Increase in lump sums for the purpose of diverting suspicion of corruption? Why do so many lobbyists still have free access to decision-makers without the public finding out about it? Does something like this contribute to disenchantment with politics, the bad image of MPs or the thriving of right-wing “protest parties”? The ever-growing distance between those who represent Parliament and those who are supposed to represent them and who are actually their "bosses"? Of course, the list of corruption could be continued indefinitely: Oligo X, OligoY (just don't name real names!)... all the obvious cases, .. . who cares?
